I am the energy and passion that encapsulates my brand. The foundation of this has been built upon a wealth of experience over the last three decades. I started out in hospitality and catering and then trained as screen printer. I worked for over ten years as a dedicated frontline worker – running community drug and alcohol services. Then the later fifteen years in leasehold/freehold property management. I currently work, part time; as a business manager within the vehicle repair industry.

Abi Abstract offers me a unique platform to utilise all of these skills and ignite a passion that has run throughout the heart of my careers- creativity! From an early age I could be found holding a pencil or paintbrush in my hand - always drawing, painting, making models, sewing or crafting. Over the years I have developed a strong passion for: designing, manufacturing, publishing, up cycling, interior design, property design and renovation. An abstract and eclectic mix!

Whether it is blackening the hull of a 30ft canal boat; designing rooms for a property renovation project; designing my own branding, manufacturing and publishing a greeting card range or giving an old mirror ‘a new lease of life'- I am inspired. I am alive! I enjoy working with colour, paper, card, space, shapes, structures, textures, textiles, light, lighting, furniture, furnishings, building materials and of course power tools!! I am very much the designer, the maker and always 'hands on' in all my projects!
